Free, Simple Logging Utility

Not a bad away to log, transcribe, and it's free. This program basically allows you to grab timer info from a QuickTime movie and then type away to comment on that point in a movie. You can also slow down playback and pause with keyboard commands if you are transcribing. You can use the original media (e.g., DV files) or compressed files that are easier to move around (e.g., MPEG4, H.264, or even MP3.) I checked out the Mac version and there's even one for Windows. Registration is required to download at dvcreators.net. I wish this thing read the timecode from the files, but when its free you can't really complain.
