Free Sound Project

Free Sound Project has a collection of recorded sounds, including effects, for download. I'm not sure of all the licensing issues but the next time I want a swish or a whoosh I'll be visiting them. I heard about them at DVGuru because one of their effects ('Loud Male Screaming') was used in the Alfonso Cuarón film "Chilrdren of Men". It's fun to just browse too and listen to some random sounds--tibetan chanting, dog growling, birds in the forest, ringing glass.
